GREENWEAR Acquires OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Certification

Global Eco-Certification Demonstrates Environmentally Friendly and Skin-Friendly Nature of Natural Dyeing

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is currently the most widely used fiber eco-label.

Acquisition of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Certification

GREENWEAR acquired the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification on December 7, 2022. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is one of the most widely used fiber eco-labels in the world. It is an international environmental standard that limits or prohibits the use of chemicals or metals that are harmful to human health or the environment in the production process of fibers, textiles, and clothing.

Sustainability of HUNA DYEING™ products was proven through the acquisition of OEKO-TEX® certification.

Reaffirming the Sustainability of GREENWEAR's Natural Dyeing Technology

The OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification demonstrates that GREENWEAR's fiber and accessory products do not pose any harm to human health. The test requirements for this certification are much more stringent than national and international specifications. In order to obtain this certification, the European testing and research institute Centexbel conducted tests for harmful substances in HUNA DYEING™ fabrics such as cotton, polyester, and nylon. The test results showed that GREENWEAR's natural dyeing not only met the standards for all items, but also achieved most items at 1/10 to a maximum of 1/100 of the standard. This confirms the potential of natural dyeing as an excellent alternative to synthetic dye-based chemical dyeing.
