Following a recommendation from the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, the company was selected as a Korean candidate by the Korea Green Foundation, an official nominator for the prize. The Earthshot Prize is an international environmental award that identifies innovative solutions to global environmental challenges, awarding £1 million (approximately KRW 2 billion) to each of five winners.
