GREENWEAR’s Biomass Natural Dyeing substantially improves on the technical limitations of traditional natural dyeing, achieving wash colourfastness comparable to conventional chemical dyeing. It also allows for tumble drying, garment-care appliances such as a Styler, and dry cleaning.
However, exposure to bleach and similar substances can still break down plant-based dyes or cause them to detach from the fibres. Brands therefore need to provide consumers with accurate care information to prevent discolouration and colour loss during use.
Fabric test results are available on GREENWEAR’s quality management page.
