Mulberry

Leaves

These are the leaves of white mulberry, known as food for the silkworms used in silk production. Its cultivation and use were recorded in China around 5,000 years ago, and later in ancient Greece, India and Europe. The plant has long accompanied the textile industry through silk production. In Asian countries including Korea, it has been used as a remedy for symptoms such as fever and headaches.
