Marigold is a natural material that has been used as a dye in Asian regions including India. It is also used as a food colourant and has been used in Asian folk medicine as first aid for burns. Believed to have anti-ageing properties, marigold infused in baby oil has also been used to soothe the skin and ease skin irritation.
