Greenwear Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Samyang Corporation to develop Biomass Natural Dyeing technology for PA6 nylon fibers made from discarded fishing nets collected from Korea's fishing industry. Samyang Corporation is a Samyang Group affiliate that develops and manufactures food products and chemical materials. The two companies will combine fishing-net recycling with Biomass Natural Dyeing to develop textile materials with a lower environmental impact, from raw material recycling through to dyeing.
